About First Baptist Church of Conestee
Welcome to First Baptist Church of Conestee – a church family committed to the Word of God, the work of Christ, and the fellowship of believers. We are an Independent Baptist congregation in Conestee, South Carolina, preaching and teaching the King James Bible. Our desire is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in worship, discipleship, and outreach.
Who We Are
The Word of God; We hold the Scriptures as inspired, infallible, and our final authority the Authorized King James 1611.
The Lordship of Christ; Jesus Christ is the head of the church; we aim to honor Him in doctrine and life.

Worship Services
Traditional, reverent services centered on the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, with congregational singing, prayer, and clear Bible exposition.

SHORT HISTORY
Conestee is a historic mill village along the Reedy River, shaped in large part by the McBee family’s 19th-century investments and community institutions. The village’s distinctive McBee Chapel; an octagonal brick church built in the 1840s and now on the National Register of Historic Places speaks to a long local legacy of worship gatherings in Conestee. First Baptist Church of Conestee stands within this heritage of faith and community life, continuing today as a KJV-preaching Independent Baptist church in the heart of the village.
